Lego Life: Build the Best One You Can

The other day, I watched my daughter build a Lego structure.

Some pieces she needed were missing. Some were bent or damaged. Some were being used by other kids.

She felt frustrated for a moment, but then she became creative. She used what she did have, mixed pieces in new ways, and built something she was proud of.

It made me pause.

Is life not the same?

We are all handed a random set of pieces: circumstances, opportunities, people, timing.

There is no perfect blueprint, and every set looks different.

Yes, the life of another person may look beautifully built from the outside, but that person is missing pieces as well.

What truly matters is how we design our lives with the pieces we have.

Sometimes, we meet people who generously share their pieces, such as experience, encouragement, and support. Those contributions can change everything.

However, the structure we create still depends on how we choose to arrange, adapt, and build.

Just as importantly, we should share our pieces with others, but without burning ourselves out. Helping others should not come at the cost of our own foundation.

Just as every Lego creation eventually comes apart, our time here is finite.

What remains is the inspiration, kindness, and impact we leave behind, the legacy that helps the next generation build something even better.
