Trust the process

Last weekend, I took my kids to a children’s museum. In the crafts section, my daughter grabbed an empty paper towel roll and started making something. I couldn't figure out what she was doing, and honestly, I don’t think she was either.
She covered one end with duct tape, dropped in some sparkles, little jewels, buttons.. and whatever else she could find…that stuck to it. Then she lifted the tube toward the sunlight. And just like that, it turned into a homemade kaleidoscope! Colorful, bright, and completely unexpected.

Watching her, it hit me! As adults, we are so focused on wanting to know exactly what we are building before we even start. We wait for clarity… for the perfect plan… that stalls our progress. But sometimes, the magic only shows up once we begin. When we trust the process, stay curious, and let creativity do its thing.
Here’s to that childlike courage to start, the bias for action...even when we aren't sure how it will turn out. Because that’s often where the most beautiful patterns appear.
